Since we first formed in 1979, we've grown our team of expert horticulturists and landscapers. We have decades of experience in propagating, pruning, fertilising, and planting native shrubs. And if we don't know the answer? We have connections with horticulturists all around Victoria — so we can ask the person who does.
When you visit your nearest All Green store, you can ask our experts about your gardening project. We can help you find the native shrub you're looking for, and locate any other gardening products you might need to help your plants thrive.
At All Green, we understand it can be hard to organise pick up for your native shrub orders — especially if you're ordering more than one. Fortunately, we offer high quality delivery services in a fleet of modern trucks. We take the utmost care when transporting native shrubs to your home.
For a set fee, we can deliver to 15 suburbs surrounding our Hoppers Crossing nursery in Melbourne. For deliveries outside of these areas, we price our services based on distance by kilometre. For a more accurate estimate, get in touch with our friendly team.
We love all native shrubs! But we also have our favourites. We love these plants because they're beautiful, easy to grow, and easy to maintain.
Some native shrubs are easy to take care of, and others require a little extra love and attention. Regardless of the species, however, there are some general rules to follow to get the best out of your plants.
Planting: After you've planted your native shrubs, you'll need to water them well in the following weeks while they establish roots.
Feeding: If you want to give your plants to grow into healthy, mature shrubs, you can apply a little fertiliser to give them a boost. To find out which product is best for your shrub species, ask the team at All Green.
Mulching: Covering the base of roots during colder seasons can help protect your native shrub from ground frost.
Pruning: Prune your plants just after they've finished flowering for the season. This way, the bush will keep its shape, and nutrients from soil and water will go to the parts of the plant that need it most.
