Explore our range of orange and yellow brick sand, peruse paving sand, fine sand and packing sand for laying pavers and concrete slabs, and more. We also have displays for our other products. So, if your project involves anything like mulches, soils, rocks, river pebbles or plants, you’ll find it all in one convenient place at All Green.

Frequently asked questions

Do you deliver sand?

We sure do. No matter where you live in the Greater Melbourne area, we can have an order out to you in just a few days. There's no minimum order size, but larger orders might be subject to availability.

Where does your sand come from?

All of our sands, mulches and soils come from our suppliers between Melbourne and Adelaide. We go straight to the quarries and suppliers and pass those savings on to our customers. Plus, we only work with sustainable suppliers, so you can rest assured that we're doing right by mother nature.

How should I use sand in my garden?

There are almost as many different ways to use sand in a garden as grains of sand on a beach.

For example, you can:

  • Set up a sandpit for kids
  • Use washed sand when laying pavers for even installation
  • Scatter sand on synthetic grass used throughout the garden or on a faux-lawn tennis court
  • Use sand when laying bricks (either white brick sand or yellow brick sand)
  • Some people even set up their very own zen garden

How much sand do I need per square metre?

That will depend on the sort of sand you're ordering and for what purpose. Try talking with our team and discussing your needs. They have all the expertise necessary to ensure that you get the right amount for your next landscaping project.

Why do you stock so many different kinds of sand?

It's essential to use the correct sand for your gardening project. For example, you wouldn't want your children playing in a sandpit filled with the same harsh and gritty concrete sand or dried sand used for an industrial job.

Instead, you'd be in the market for bulk sandpit sand. If you're unsure of which sand is right for you, our friendly team of sand experts will be able to guide you in the right direction.

How often should I replace the sand in my sandpit?

Generally speaking, sandpit sand should be replaced once a year. However, sand will stay cleaner for longer if it is seldom used or if there's a protective cover that shields the sandpit from the elements.

Keep in mind that you should be prepared to change the sand promptly if a child or an animal does anything particularly unsanitary.
