Whether you’re topping up a small area or tackling a larger landscaping job, we’ve got options to suit. For smaller projects, we offer 20kg bagged sand that’s easy to transport. For larger paving, turf, or landscaping work, loose bulk sand starts from 0.25m³. Not sure how much you’ll need? Bring in your plans or measurements, and we’ll help you calculate the right volume so you don’t over-order or run short.
Need a single bag or a few cubic metres? We deliver sand to homes and job sites throughout the wider Melbourne region, with no minimum order. Online orders typically arrive within 2–4 business days. If timing is tight, give us a call. We can often organise faster delivery, depending on availability and truck capacity. Or, if you prefer, you can pick up from our Hoppers Crossing nursery (usually within 24 hours).
If you’re laying pavers or stepping stones, packing sand is usually the right base. It compacts well and creates a firm, level layer under your pavers so they sit evenly and stay in place.

Yes. Washed concrete sand is commonly used to improve drainage in heavy or compacted soils, something many Melbourne gardens deal with. When mixed through dense ground, it helps open up the soil profile so water can move more freely. It’s often used when preparing new garden beds, levelling turf areas, or improving soil structure before planting.
For sandpits, choose clean, low-dust sandpit sand. It’s screened to remove larger particles and designed to be soft and safe for children to play in. It’s free from the coarse grit, making it a better choice for bare hands and feet.
To keep your sandpit clean, cover it when it’s not in use and rake the surface regularly. As a general rule, sandpit sand should be replaced once a year, or sooner if it becomes dirty or heavily used.
Lawn or turf sand is great for preparing and levelling lawn areas, so everything sits evenly before installation. It also helps improve drainage in heavier soils and creates a stable base for fresh lawn to establish. You can also brush it into synthetic turf to keep fibres upright and maintain a natural finish.

Absolutely. For bulk sand orders, you can buy online by selecting the total volume you need, and we’ll organise delivery to suit your site access and timing. Standard delivery is about 2–4 business days, but we can usually organise it sooner for those urgent jobs. Just give us a call first, and we can help you plan it.
