Naturalise yourself at All Green

Natural-looking, quality made

Poorly constructed garden stepping stones can crack and crumble quickly, and the fragmented pieces can pose safety hazards to unwary explorers of your garden. At All Green Nursery & Garden, we source premium natural edge steppers which are dense, long-lasting, and highly durable.

Our range is available in a variety of formats, sizes, and surface textures, such a Bluestone. Whether you need to buy natural edge steppers to line a garden pathway, or pavers to line wet areas, you can find the right product at our nurseries.

Frequently asked questions

What are the different kinds of pavers for outdoor areas?

Pavers come in a variety of materials, and each material has its own benefits and features for different applications. Some of the most popular include:

  • Bluestone: Made from volcanic stones which have formed over millions of years, these pavers are highly durable and versatile. Bluestone can cope with higher temperature changes, so it has a higher breaking load limit than concrete.
  • Sandstone: A sedimentary rock made up of sand grains, this material is versatile and strong. Sandstone pavers are often chosen for the unique aesthetic of the material, and its ability to adapt to almost any garden style.
  • Limestone: Like sandstone, limestone is a sedimentary rock but instead of sand grains, it is made up of fossilised materials such as shells, coral, algae, and sand. Limestone pavers are strong, and often used for garden edging.
  • Brick: Made of clay or concrete and mixed aggregates, brick pavers are very strong and stain-resistant. These pavers are ideal for high traffic outdoor areas, and sealant can be applied to prevent colour bleaching.

How do I choose the right natural edge steppers?

There are three things to keep in mind when selecting the right natural edge steppers for your garden:

  • Density: The thicker the paver, the more durable it will be which is great for high traffic areas.
  • Size: You can choose small, medium or large pavers for your outdoor garden.
  • Finish: Customise your natural edge steppers by choosing pavers with a unique finish.

You also need to think about the intended purpose for your steppers. Once you've laid them, will many people use them? Or are you installing them fore more decorative purposes? If you need help selecting the right product for your project, ask our friendly team. We've helped thousands of people locate the right solution for their outdoor gardens.

Can you deliver garden stepping stones?

Yes — we offer exceptional delivery services Melbourne-wide. If you'd like more information on where we deliver, and how much it might cost, get in touch with our customer service team or check out our dedicated delivery page.

Will I need to clean or maintain natural edge steppers?

The great thing about these pavers is that you can do as little — or as much — as you want to maintain them. If you want a rustic look, leave them to their own devices. If you want to clean them, simply hose them down with water.
