Common Name: Coastal Banksia

Banksia integrifolia is the form of Banksia that can survive when exposed to coastal conditions.

It’s a very hardy, evergreen native tree.

The Coast Banksia has light green leaves with the underside of the leaf being a Silvery white colour which would beautifully contrast with the dark grey trunk. It flowers from autumn to spring with long, pale yellow spikes attracting nectar feeding birds.

Coast Banksia like full sun and will take part shade. It prefers well drained soil and will thrive in exposed coastal areas as well as being frost tolerant.

Uses: Informal screening, specimen tree
